Long quit times

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

When I'm wirelessly connected to my employer's network, Entourage will take on average 2 MINUTES to quit... If I'm not connected, it takes 2-3 seconds to quit. I've seen several net discussions around startup and duplicate license key checking, but my problem is when quitting. Any suggestions?

Check Tools > Schedules, do you have a Schedule that runs in Quit that,
perhaps, is deleting messages from an IMAP server? That could take a
while.

There are no items in my Schedules :-(

An additional datapoint, my employer's network is massive and spans the globe.. all PC based, if that matters any.

Another data point.. it is not JUST entourage.. it appears ALL Office products take up to 2 minutes to disappear off my dock when I quit them. ( Tried Excel and Powerpoint)
