Looping Slides

Hi,
I am running PP Xp (2002) within XP Pro..

I would like to do the following:

Slide one - start a music track playing.
Slide 2-7 - repeat slides 2-7 until the music finishes

Is there any way of doing this without manually cpying the slides
multiple times?

Thanks,
MattH

Hi Troy,
Thanks for that. It looks like a good work-around, but can I get it to
work in PP XP? No chance. The tutorial is for PP 2000. I have messed
around for half an hour and can't figure out how to do it in XP.
Anyone got any pointers?

Cheers,
MattH

Hi Troy!

If you loop the presentation, it will start over at the first slide, but
Matt says he wants the looping to commence at Slide 2. I'm probably missing
something obvious, but here is the kludgy way that I would do it:

1. Set Slide 1 to be hidden.
2. Using Set Up Show, set the show to Loop.
3. Go to Slide 1 and issue the Slide Show from current slide command.

Even though it is hidden, the slide show will begin there if you
specifically tell it to. After that, it will loop through the non-hidden
slides.

Like I said, a bit kludgy. I'd love to learn a better way...

Matt, in previous versions you could use the custom show feature to get
a portion of your presentation to loop. To be honest, I don't know if it
will work in 2002 that way, nor do I know what will happen with the
sound. But it might be worth a quick look at the sample file available
at http://www.echosvoice.com/animationfeatures.htm You want the
FAQLoop.zip file.
