Losing Navigation Links

I

Ian Glasby

OK long story - I created a web site in an earlier
version of Frontpage, I bought a new PC and Frontpage
2002. I tried to load the web site in Frontpage 2002 the
application hung every time a page was opened. After
numerous attempts, including imports etc. Decided simply
to recreate the site from the HTML code. When this is
done the navigation links do not appear. I set them up
using the Insert Navigation tools they appear fine. I
save the individual pages and close the web, when I open
the web again the navigation bars have disappeared. The
website was originally developed using one of the
standard themes provided and I have remained consistent
with that in the new version. Has any one any
suggestions.

For how to transfer a site from 1 PC to another see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=264777

If it's too late for that and the site is published to a server using the FP SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=205729

Or just reapply the theme and create a Navigation view in your newly created site
