Losing shadow when transfering

I am losing the shadow on text when transfering to another
computer or after saving, closing ppt and reopening the
file. Any suggestions?

It is extremely important to know what version of PowerPoint you are using.

Cut and paste does not automatically bring all the formatting with it, but
how to achieve it varies.
