lost address book

I was synching my Palm with Entourage and the address book on both the Palm and Entourage is gone
I thought I backed it up properly, but I have found I did not. I have tried Norton to recover lost files, but I don't know what to look for. Is there any way to recover this? I wish this was a bad dream.

How did you do your backup? Perhaps we could help if we knew which method
you used.

Microsoft Entourage can export your contacts in a tab-delimited text file
that you can modify and import into other programs.
1. On the File menu, click Export.
2. Follow the steps in the Export Assistant.

Look in Entourage Help and search for Export Entourage contacts for more
tips.
