Lost document

Had to rebuild the computer and trying to find the method
of retreiving a document from word. Any assistance would
be "greatly" appreciated.

I know I'm not sure I follow what you are asking. Did you reinstall
Word? Where was the document stored?

Note that documents are not stored as 'part' of Word. When you
uninstall Word you do not lose documents you created. They should be
located in the same folder you used when you saved them.

Now if you didn't backup your critical files and formatted your hard
drive then there may not be a lot you can do.
