lost "favorites" in Outlook express

Hello all,

When I open the favorites menu in Outlook Express, it
displays nothing. Yet, when I go to "my
computer", "documents and settings", and "favorites",
there they are, just like it should be. Can anyone tell
me why it suddenly won't display in the menu like it
should?
