Lost Key Code for Office 2000

Recently I had a new PC built by a local computer firm and had them transfer my software to the new PC...I had them load a OEM version of XP Home as the Op System but I ran into a problem when trying to reload Office 2000 professional. I have misplaced my original packaging and cannot find the key code to load the software. Trying to get through to MicroSoft has been a fruitless. I would obviously like to avoid paying another $400 for a new software package. Anyone have a similar experience or offer advice to obtain help from MS. original disk. You will need to provide information
which is ONLY stored on the original CD.
