You should be able to use the Print to OneNote tool to send content from any
app.

Thanks much ... it prints as an image. is there anyway to have it
transfered to OneNote as text?? This would be preferable for me, as I often
will lift a para or two to be quoted in a report.

Yes when printing into ON the result is an image.
With the proper settings, however, the image will automatically treated
with OCR and and indexed. So the printed import is fully searchable and
the text can be copied.

I fully understand this.
Unfortunately I do not know Lotus Notes in it current versions (must be
some 10 years or so since I worked with it :-(
So I can not say if it's possible to copy the whole mail to the
clipboard in order to be pasted into ON.

This works pretty fine with Outlook Express as well as the new Windows
Mail, whereas Outlook mails can only be printed (for me one of the
reasons for using OE/WinMail instead of Outlook).

Rainald has a good bead on this one - ;-) ;-)
no good answer :-( :-(

Any better idea?
I can think of other than copy/paste from Notes to OneNote.

As we say over here: "In a real need, the devil will eat flies" <bg>.

As said it's easy with OE and WinMail.
I have quite mails and news in ON notebooks.

It's no fun at all with Outlook :-( :-(
