Has anyone heard that the latest patch kills Office X?

getting this error in the logs

OS Version: 10.2.8 (Build 6R73)

Are you sure that you are talking about Office X? Most of the web searches
that I have come up with point to a 32-bit application. Usually in reference
to Windows and not Mac OS's so ...

Are you sure what you are installing is Office X and not Office XP?

Office X is the Microsoft Office suite produced for the Macintosh platform,
specifically OS 10.x. It is not a Windows program so it is not Office XP.
