macro button, checkit, click to type

I am using MS 2003 Word. When using the templates for either fax or letter,
when I have clicked to fill out my document, when I print preview it or print
it, the "macro button, checkit, click to type" or the macro button appears in
my printed document alone with the data I have entered.

I have installed VBA for Word 2003, however, I still get the above results
when using the forms ie. fax or letter supplied by MS 2003.

How do I resolve this issue?

Although what you're actually describing here isn't clear, I can think of
several possible problems (and what you describe may be the result of a
combination):

1. You don't have "Typing replaces selection" checked on the Edit tab of
Tools | Options, so what you type into the MacroButton field isn't replacing
it.

2. You haven't filled in all the fields (if you don't fill them with at
least a space or delete them, the prompt will remain).

3. You have "Field codes" checked under "Include with document" on the Print
tab of Tools | Options.

Suanne,

Thanks, it was the "field codes" being checked in my print options section.
