Macro disappears

Guyp

Hi!

I am creating my first Macro with WORD 2003, eveything works fine.
However when I send it to my friend, everything is gone.

I know it must be a protection against viruses or so, but is there a
better solution to send a macro, rather than re-creating it??

I tried to create a template, but that won't work either.

Thanks
G.

One way is to copy the text of the macro into the body text of your email,
and let him copy into a module. Some emails and virus checkers kill any
macros they find.

Are you sure that you are saving your macro in your document? The default
location to save it is in your normal.dot template. Take a look at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/DistributeMacros.htm.
