How do I create a macro that removes all macros from Word when I quit the
document. Is it at all possible to do that?

How do you plan on ultimately removing the macro that does the removing
while it is running?

If you gave more details as to the particular of your situation, I am sure
it will be possible to suggest ideas that might help you.
And it never hurts to mention the Word version you are working with.

Well, the problem is that the document has two macros in it and they should
be removed, or all macros should be removed when the document is saved
because the document is to be email after it is saved and our mailserver
deletes all word-documents that has a macro in it and the users don't know
how to remove the macros manually.

We have Word 2002.

Are the macro really in the document or in the template used to create the
document?

If they are in the template (as they should), then any document created from
that template will have access to the macros, but these will not be part of
the document, they stay in the template. Thus users can safely send the
document.

If the macros are in the document itself, it is a bit of a weird design! In
which case you should also explain why it is necessary to have the macros in
the document itself, otherwise consider redesigning the whole thing to move
the macros in a template.
