Mail Merge: Envelopes: Zip Barcode

WinXP SP2 Word XP

During Mail Merge to an Envelope, I want to include the Zip code in Bar
code format. Every time I add the bar code Field and a Bookmark to the
Zip Code merge field to the Master document and then Merge, I get "Can't
find Bookmark"

What am I doing wrong?

What you are doing wrong is using a bookmark. Bookmarks have to be unique -
you can't use them in a mail merge which would try to duplicate them for
each record. Use the required fields as literal text in the bar code field.

I am sorry, but I have not been able to figure out how to use your
response. I have a Envelope merge document with fields for the
"Addressee's Name", "Street Address" and "City, State, Zip" lines. My
data source does have a field for the "Zip".

What do I put into the Barcode field to use this source data?

We don't use barcodes in my part of the world, so I am shooting in the dark
here, but it was my understanding that the Barcode *required* the zip code,
so if your data doesn't have the zip code, I am not really surprised that it
doesn't work. However if we are at cross purposes here, what I was
indicating originally was that you insert the field (or fields) that
provides the bar code information within the barcode field eg something
along the lines

{Barcode "{Mergefield fieldname}" \b }
