Mail Merge with Outlook 2000 SP3

I have just loaded SP3 to my Office 2000 installation.

I use mail merge from Outlook and from Word to broadcast email notifications
to our members. It has worked perfectly in the past. Since loading SP3, it
makes me respond to each of the 170 emails whether it's legitimate and do I
want to send it out. That is not acceptable. Is there a way around this?
I've looked everywhere in Outlook and can't find any way to turn this
feature off. Any help would be appreciated.

Also does anyone know if the newer versions of Outlook give you more
control? Mail merge is an important feature.

There is no way to avoid the security prompts in that version. Either
upgrade to Office XP or 2003 or get a third-party tool -- see

I am experiencing the same problem only with pulling an E-
mail query from an access data base.
