Mail merging with Outlook contacts

I am using MS Office 2003. I have created many contacts in my Outlook
contact list. I went to do a mail merge and received an error message. I
get to the point where I select the "Select from Outlook contacts" radio
button and then I click "Choose Contacts Folder" and I get the following
error message: "Unable to obtain list of tables from the data source."
Anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks.
