mail notification not sent to resouce when I assign task

When I publish my project and assign task to resource my assigness don't get
an alert wherein if log in as ADministrator on webaccess and if I save an
alert on issues i get the mail,can some one guide me on this issue.

Try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project
