Publishing Tasks with Unwanted Email Notifications

Hi,

I would like to publish tasks in Project Professional 2007 that were
approved in Project Web Access 2007 without sending an email notification to
the assigned resources every time. Currently, a resouce will receive an
email notifying him/her of a published task every time my fellow Project
Manager or I publish a task.

We receive several task updates a day for multiple projects and want to
ensure we approve and apply these updates to the plan as soon as possible.
The Manage Alerts and Reminders function in PWA makes no mention of
configuring alerts resulting from published tasks.

Any insight/comments would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

If I understand correctly. You want to stop emails of already published then
approved then completed task to your team members.
