Susanne Sanders said:Thank you very much! I shall try this and hope that it works for me! I
really appreciate your help!! Another question: Will the page numbers
insert automatically or will I have to insert them, and if so, how do I
insert them?
Thanks much!

JoAnn said:BTW - you may want to set up master documents for that data. I'm creating a
handbook for a seminar later this year. I'm looking at about a 64 page
document when everything is said and done.

I have four master documents. Two are for the covers, two are for the inside
pages. I have it set up so I only have one Publisher document for the entire
publication and my page numbers don't start until the first "real" page. Now
that everything is set in the master documents, all I have to do is to add
the content.

I am about to start work on my booklet, which will include 65 students. I
am so scared that I will get all the into keyed in and then it won't print
in
the right order. Can you please advise me in "simple" terms how to set
this
thing up so that it will work right. How do I set up the master copies
that
you were referring to? Thanks for all your help!!

===============================Ivee said:Jo-Ann - About the page numbers in your booklet. You can choose
ignore master page and that will negate the page number on the cover.
Or you can set up the inside master page with the inserted number on
that master page only. What I want to know is what is the first
number shown on the "real pages" (i.e. inside pages)? I have found
that it will start with number 2 if that is the first page of your
inside pages (or 3 if that is the case). Is it possible to have the
number on the first inside page you start with "1"? I know that if I
type in each page number that I can start with any number is choose.
Also I can make the cover a separate documtent. But can an inserted
page number begin with "1" if it is not the first page (including
cover) of the document?

about? And where do I find it? Many thanks
=======================Ivee said:Thank you, thank you, John. I've been using Publisher for several
years - practically the only program I use for documents - and keep
finding new things. I very recently found this dialogue and enjoy
the chance to sound off, but best of all I find out even more new
stuff. I added a section to a newsletter that I do, and now it will
make more sense (at least to me).
