Make Movie command

Is the Make Movie Command under the Files tab only
available with the MAC versions of Powerpoint, or is this
available on later versions of Powerpoint (after 2000)?

I know that you can use screen capture programs, but would
like to use the QuickTime route, similar to what I have
seen used on the Mac version, for quality reasons.

Any comments?

The make movie is indeed only available on the MAC version of powerpoint.

You may be able to get similar results by using camtasia to make a movie
video file.
