making a submit link

Little Auggie

I have a web site, the second page is a "contact us" page where clients fill
out
questions, name, address, phone and comments, things like that, then they hit
the "submit" button, it then is suppose to take them to a conformation page
and
then send me the information.

Now the link between the conformation page and the submit button is broke,
and
it keeps getting broke, I have fixed it once by shrear luck on a trail and
error bases.
but now I can't get it to work again. can someone out there give me a hand
with
this problem??? IN plain terms please,

I would also like to know how to RECALCULATE HYPERLINKS on the remote site,
I can do it on the web site that is set up on my hard drive, but when I try
to do it on the remote site it jumps back to my hard drive and does that one
again. I think that might be the answer to the top problem.
need help fast.

Problem #1:

It seems like you are saying that your form and
confirmation sometimes work and sometimes don't. If this
is true, are you perhaps publishing your website from
your PC to your host using the FTP publishing method. If
so this will "break" the Front Page Server Extensions are
required for Front Page forms to function. You must
publish using the "http" method (see Front Page help).

Problem #2:

To recalculate hyperlinks on your live site you must
first open that site (again using the http method).

HI Rick,
I want to personally THANK YOU for your help.
I printed out your answer, went to the web site
on my hard drive, and made a backup copy of it,
just in case.
then I published the site using the http:// format
and it worked, I was tickled pink, no more long hours
trying to find the exact line of code with the mistake in
it, now I just let the program do it all.
Again thank you dose not seem like enough for what
you did.
If you are not overly busy, I'd like to stay in touch,
I just got the Front Page in December and am still
trying to muddly my way through it, I could use a
good source for a problem now and again.
Like can you open more than one page at a time?
and why won't it open the last site used instead
of going all the way back to the main C drive.
just little things that don't seem to be in the
manual.
that is if you are not to busy.
Friends???
