As I am trying to utilize Outlook the best I can, I would like to create a useful monthly report of my public journal entries. The report format that prints out of Outlook is a MESS; way too much truncating and now way to rearrange. Since I couldn't export out of a public journal, I tried creating a new personal journal folder to hold data, copy from the public journal and export from there. This worked (alhtough it seems EXTREMELY tedious for a so-called great program), but I was not getting the contact name data to export (which is quite important data for the report). When I checked mapping the fields during the export, "Contact" did not exist (although that is the field in the journal). Outlook was trying to map fields called "Contact (AddressType), Contact (Address), and Contact (Name)", which in the journal don't exist and therefore the fields were blank after the export. I've tried renaming fields but that doesn't work.
Does anyone know how I can export the journal entry data to an mdb file so that I can format a custom report that looks the way I want?
