margin cutoff

I am running a fairly new Dell Notebook w/MS XP Pro and
Office Professional Edition 2003. In a previous version
of Publisher (97) I printed a 3-fold brochure fine.

When I try to print it in the new software on the same HP
office jet 7140xi (all-in-one) it cuts the margins off.

If I move the text and graphics over far enough to print,
they are not centered on the columns.

After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message

You will need to adjust the Layout Guides enough to accommodate the large
margin, and then do the same on the opposite side (to the same measurement -
to make it symmetrical). Adjust both pages to fall within the guides, then
after printing, trim down to where the guides were on both sides, and fold.
