Master pages

Hi

I'm working in Ppt 2003 on PC and am trying to build a new template. I'd
like the title page to be different from the rest of the presentation in the
master page. I'm sure I've done it before in earlier versions, but can't seem
to figure it out - help anyone?

Go to View > Master > Slide Master and then go to Insert > New Title Master.
Format the new master to taste and save the file as a .POT.

thank you - that's what I was doing, but i didn't take the next step and save
it as a .pot. By the way, do you get paid to answer questions? I was just
wondering. There seem to be the same group of you answering ques. all the
time. - and quite quickly too I might add!!
