Master Projects

Is there a way to remove the links to sub-projects in a master project
without having to delete the projects then re-insert them? ie, I'd like to
import the data rather than link to it.

Thanks

Dave

Hi,

I think if you double-click the sub-project task to open the Task
Information dialog, then select the Advanced tab you will see an unlink
button or check box. Click it or deselect it and the link is broken and all
tasks imported.

Hi all,
I seem to be having the same problem in a trial version of Project 2003.
The update with service pack2 does not work; the message is: the expected
version was not found on your computer.
Should I trust that the problem is fixed in the product version?
Kind Regards,
Jan Cuppen

Jan,
I don't know if there are any master/subproject limitations with the
trial version - I've never used the trial version. But if your question
is, can subprojects be unlinked with the full version of Project 2003,
then the answer is "yes".
