Material Resource Cost

I am trying to include a material resouce that adds a cost of $0.82
per hour of work to all work resources on my project. I have defined
a material resource with a rate of $0.82 and applied it to all tasks
with units 1/h. This calculates the cost for this material based on
the project duration - I need it to get it to calculate based on
worked hours.

The best I can come up with is to change my work resources rate to
increase by $0.82. I don't like this because I would like to group
that cost with other material costs not labor costs.

If you had a 1-hour duration task with 2 resources assigned to it (thus
representing 2 man-hours of work), should $0.82 or $1.64 be added to the
costs?
