Hi,

I've been trying to use mathtype / equation editor with Microsoft Publisher
(I'm using the 2002 version), and have been running into some difficulty --
maybe someone can help me out!

When I use the equation editor with Word, the equation appears in-line with
the text, and the baseline of the equation is the same as the baseline of the
text. When I use the equation editor in Publisher and select for the
equation to appear in-line with the text, the equation always appears to have
a baseline above that of the text -- it's not perfectly aligned and always
seems higher up than the text. (And if I select for it to be not in-line, it
just gets worse.) Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make the
equation editor give the same alignment in Publisher that it gives in Word?
Incidentally, when I create a document (that looks fine) in Word and paste it
into publisher, the alignment of the equations gets all messed up....)

Thanks for your help!
