Max or Large function

I use Access 2000. I would like to use Max or Large or other functions that
the help screen says require the presence of msowcf.dll. i searched and I do
have msowcf.dll in two places in the Office group of files. What do I have
to do to activate the msowcf.dll file?

I have seen the Max function but never the Large. Are you sure you're
referring to Access and not Excel which does have a Large function?

I find that I myself asked it three times. For some reason, I didn't get
acknowledgement when I posted and kept trying-embarrassing.

The Access 2000 help screen shows both Large and Max as available functions
with the admonition that you might have to install the mwsowcf.dll file to
use them

I did find a sight that described how to get excel functions like Pi() and
Radians() to work in Access by clicking Tools-References then selecting
Microsoft Excel 9.0 etc. library, then creating a very simple function
module. Those functions work well, but I can't figure out how to do the
same with max min etc. and am beginning to believe tht there is no way
excepted clumsy nested iif statements.

Sometimes you have to be patient when posting... Busy servers may take a
few mintues or longer to 'update' for you to see your post.

Strange I can't find the Large function listed anywhere for Access 2002,
Access 2003 or in the MSDN Library. For Excel yes, but for not for Access.
