Max size?

I have a powerpoint file produced by Office 2003 of 1.37 Gb: if I try
to load it, the load fails saying it's not possibile..

What's the cause? Maybe is there a maximum size of a file for
powerpoint program?

Power Point has no upper limit to the size of the file, but your computer's
abilities may. A file that large will be very slow and is very susceptible
to corruption.

The first thing you need to ask is, "Why is it so big?"

Usually size issues are because the images you inserted are far too detailed
compared to what can be displayed. Get the images under control and the
size should come down.

What version of PPT?
Have you compressed the images?

I've actually a 130 Mo file and it's quite long to open it

the biggest we've seen here, but it is still far, far too big.

I think it's too big. Anyway I tried to open it from 4 Gb RAM based PC
but it fails.

It isn't the size, like I said I've heard of 3 GB ones that functioned. It
is most likely become corrupted. Was OpenOffice not able to open it either?
