MD5 support to make sure the product is the right 1

Hi!

I was read that the LINUX is using MD5 to make sure their
packages or almost everything is the right 1 as they
public, why not WINDOWS also have some kind of thing like
this? then we can make sure that the thing we purchase is
the perpect 1 as the MICROSOFT public?

Maybe you have it now, please let me know.
