MDB files linked to Maximizer software

I have a client that installed Maximizer on his PC, now every time he double
clicks an MDB file from within Windows explorer, or from a shortcut,
Maximizer lauches and attempts to open the MDB file with an error.

I explained to him to go into the "File Types" window in Windows Explorer to
change the link. We set MDB files to be opened with MS Access but it still
opens in Maximizer when we test it.

Can anyone help?

Does Maximizer have a page describing this problem? You'll need to
know the version of Maximizer too.

Check the folder where Maximizer is installed. See if there are and .mdb
files in it. There's a chance that a big part of it is an Access database
using the runtime of an older version of Access. If so your client either
needs to open up Access first then they database OR (better yet) use a
shortcut that fully path out the MSACCESS.EXE file and the database file.

My client tries all of your suggestions. The problem is that he doesn't want
to use any shortcuts or having to open Access first. He definitely wants to
open all his mdb files from Windows Explorer.
