merge with contacts

I accidently deleted a file in outlook, and now it wont show anything when I
click on to: to put a contact in.. and all the drop down's are blank. How can
I get it to work again. I tried deleteing outlook. and reinstalling still
wont work, And it deleted all my address and emails...

You deleted what file?
Have you checked to make sure your Outlook Address Book is still configured
correctly?
I trust you already know how to do that. Had you posted your Outlook
version, we could tell you how.
