Merged project files - How to get line numbers to be consecutive?

I merged three project files and the merged file contains three sets of line
numbers. Can they be made consecutive?

Hi,

Yes.
Double-Click each project's summary line, and in the advanced tab uncheck
"link to project".
The price to pay is that now there is no more a link to the original
project, a modification in the merged project will no longer automatically
be reflected in the source and vice versa.
