Merging Line with Above Paragraph

Does anyone remember that helpful ON 2003 tool that enabled you with the
click of a button to merge a line of inked text with the paragraph above it.
This was truly helpful for me since many times when i'm writing notes ON 2007
sometimes splits my paragraph into several paragraphs forcing me to enter
text mode and backspace awkwardly.

Was this button simply eliminated from ON 2007 or is there another way
(add-on) to merge with the above paragraph for those of us using ON on a
tablet?

Thanks,
craig

Thanks, John, for the response. Click and drag (or shift click and drag)
doesn't work in the same manner as the Continue Previous Paragraph button in
ON 2003.

The two paragraphs are in the same container. The problem that the ON 2003
button addressed was when ON split a sentence (particularly when inking on a
tablet) at the end of the container into two different paragraphs.

That button made it very easy to correct this and then move or format inked
paragraphs easily.

Any one else out there know a solution for this? Thanks!

I'll second that desire.

I also really miss the container display function of 2003. It was much
easier to see if I was writing in the "current" paragraph or if ON would
start a new one.

With 2007 it's much harder to keep paragraphs together.

I did hardly work with ON2003 so I don't know this features.
But it sound most reasonable to get it back.

Therefore pls be so kind as to post a suggestion in "Connect", the place
