Merging lists in Publisher

I am having difficulty in merging publisher's own lists,
and any imported from MS Word. Have never had any
difficulty except now. Have tried reinstalling the
entire office 200, and also Publisher's repai/reinstall
facility and syill it doesn't work. I am trying to make
certificates for kids, and using a list to merge their
names into a field place holde. Tjis has never been a
difficulty before. HELP!

Do you get an error? Have you installed all the Office 2000 updates?
Do you have Norton?
