Merging to E-mail

I read somewhere that some versions of Office can do a merge to e-mail
in order to send the same message to multiple recipients. I use
Office 2000 on win xpsp2 and it doesn't. Can anyone tell me which
version, if any, does.

Also, if there is one that does, does it work with non-Microsoft
e-mail programs. I use Eudora.

I have Office 2000, and Word merges to email just fine.

You can use Word 2000 or Outlook 2000 to start a mail merge but it will
require the use of a Microsoft mail client (Express or Outlook) to complete.

Thanks, Milly. Does any newer version work with other email programs?
If so I'll give in and upgrade.
