merging to new document

Hi

When I merge the main document with data records in the attached data source
(Excel sheet) and send the results to the printer I get this error:

Run-time error '5661':

You cannot send a catalog created by merging documents directly to mail, fax
or printer.

Then I tried merging to a new document, but the letters do not comeout on
separate pages. How can I fix this without fixing it manually?

First, you might want to post in a newsgroup about mailmerge rather than one
about programming Word using visual basic for applications.

Second, you might want to set you merge up as a letter merge rather than a
catalog merge.

Try posting in the mailmerge newsgroup. There are people there who are much
more experienced in using mailmerge than I am.

Otherwise, look at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm/#mailmerge, especially Cindy
Meister's articles.

Or start at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/CreateAMailMerge.htm.
