Thanks Bob - I did check the reminder box out and all I find is the ability
to play a sound. I was looking for some kind of dialogue box/visual reminder
to show up on the desk top.
I looked further and found I did have both visual and sound reminders set. I
guess I need to restate my original question though. Outlook does provide
visual notification when the program is open. What I wanted to do was set
reminders that pop up on the desktop when outlook is not open. I guess the
only way that might work is if Outlook is a startup application, is
minimized, always runs in the background.
Correct, a program MUST be running if you want it to work! That is true
for any software. Why would you expect otherwise?
