Hi, a couple of questions.
I've tried lots of fixes for this first problem including repair and
reinstalling to no effect. The problem is when I click on the list of
folders to get to messages on Outlook Today, the screen briefly flashes the
folder with all the messages and then displays the same correct folder but
with no messages showing at all.
The workaround I found involves choosing a folder from the personal toolbar
on the left, which comes up blank as described, then clicking another
personal toolbar folder and all comes up fine. It's awkward (I hate
un-necessay clicking) but does work.
The problem occured one day and don't know what precipatated it. I've
scoured the MS knowledge base, but there seems to be no reporting of this
trouble or a solution. I've tried the DWORD thing, but I'm fine in
customizing Outlook Today, so I don't think that's the problem.
I run Office 2000, XP with Service Pack 1 on an IBM Thinkpad that's one year
old. 1GB ram. Ever heard of this problem?
Also, is it possible to download Outlook 2003 and upgrade my Outlook 2000?
How would that work? Would I have to buy a license for all of Office, or
could I just get the Outlook portion?
Thanks.
