Message Not Available

I have a message marked in an inbox folder (bold with a 1 in
parentheses), but it is not available to view. I have tried Outlook
repair, etc. Nothing gets rid of it or makes it available.

Outlook 2002 SP3

Can you see the unread message if you switch to Unread Messages view? Also
make sure you're not sorting the Inbox on the Icon column.
