Message Sorting problem

I have switched from Outlook express to Outlook 2002. Imported all my messages etc. Sorted most of the initial problems, but all my folders are sorting different. All received e-mails are sorted according to when received but all sent e-mails (even old ones) are shown as received the day I did the import (yesterday) and are thus all sorted in that order. If I expand the e-mail it still shows the original date it was received though. Any help will be appreciated.
