Messages automatically deleted after reply

All of a sudden, about 24 hours ago, Outlook started
automatically deleting messages from my inbox to which I
had replied. The messages were not moved to the "Deleted
Items" folder - they simply vanished into the ether!
Fortunately, my replies, which include the original
message, are still saved in the "Sent Items" folder.

I have asked my company Outlook support specialist about
this, and it is a complete mystery to her. We have looked
at all the options and customizations available on
Outlook, and there is no clue.

My way around this problem is to copy the original message
before replying and re-sending it, or forwarding it, to
myself. But this mystery is driving me nuts! Has anybody
else had this happen?

Highlight your inbox and then select View>Current View. Make sure it's not
set to Unread Messages or anything else weird. Set it to messages. Sounds
like you have your view filtered.
