messages go to outlook exp instead of outlook

my two coworkers have switched from Outlook Exp to
Outlook but all their received emails end up in their
Outlook Exp program. i have Outlook as the default mail
program and still it does not receive the sent mail.
Using XP OS and XP Office. any ideas as to what needs to
be configured differently?

Have them remove the mail account from Outlook Express.
