when would you suggest I start?

Considering that is at least a year from now, and you aren't a beta tester,
what's the rush?

I'm not a Vista beta tester. I haven't heard of this requirement to ask
questions about the new MS OS. Now, is there someone who can help with
this
metadata question in the current version of Office to prepare my documents
for the Vista virtual folders?
:
Ask in the Vista Beta group. If you are a bonafide Vista Beta tester then
you were given the address to the Vista Private Beta group.

I'd like to know how to add metadata that can help to search and locate
documents based on keywords when I go to Vista.
How is this specifically added as metadata in my present word docs? Is
it
simply to add comments? But this is only added to a paragraph or
sentence so
I'm not sure what is meant by adding metadata now to help Vista's
search
folder function.
