Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Mac not blocking junk emails at all!

I have used both Block Sender under Message and set the junk mail to
the highest value and still everything comes into my email messages. I
am really sick of seeing, Dear Friend, etc. Every known Phish comes to
me and I can't stop it. It looks like there's something wrong with
Entourage. I am using Snow Leopard for the Mac. Might have something
to do with it.
Also I have never been able to solve the problem of the truncation of
long titles on attachments.
Any help with both or either of these would be a big boon
Thanks,
Joan

The spam filter in Entourage is somewhat limited. For this very reason,
I decided to use SpamSieve instead (it integrates with Entourage).

Have you tried using your ISP's web interface to set up a filter?
If it has a web interface of course... In my opinion, spam filtering on
the mail client side is flawed. Why not have the message deleted as
soon as it gets to your mail server, rather than wait to pull it down
either via IMAP/POP or Exchange?

My solution to your second problem is to use Apple Mail, it can connect
to Exchange servers.
