Microsoft Jet database engine

When launching an existing Access database, which has always worked before, I
get this error, "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object
'MSysDb'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the
path name correctly."

Unfortunately, that's usually a sign of database corruption.
