Microsoft Office 2000 Professional

My computer currently uses Microsoft Windows 98 as an operating system.

On this Computer , I succesfully manage a website for a Snooker League using
Publisher from Microsoft Office 2000 proffessional. As well as using many
other aspects of the Microsoft Office 2000 proffessional , programme.

As my computer is now nearly ready for replacement, my question is : -

If I purchase a new Computer with either XP or Vista as the operating system
, will
Microsoft Office 2000 proffessional work on the new computer and will I be
able to continue managing the website.

Many thanks for your prompt reply , I now know that I can upgrade to XP. and
still manage the website.

It was thanks to your help last September( with adding additional pages ) ,
that I was able to get the Website up & running last September.

The website is much used by the League Members.

Then why did you answer? The OP wanted to know specifically about
Office 2000.

I have Vista and Publisher 2000 runs okay. Part of the help file is gone
somewhere but there is a HTML help file one can download from Microsoft. The
Clip Gallery is broken, but that maybe just my system. I've tried all sorts of
workarounds to get it working. I believe Office 2007 is the culprit, not Vista.
I am trying to figure out why I cannot view .wmf thumbnails in Vista. Obviously
I am not asking the correct people.
