microsoft office 2000 - word ?

I would be grateful to know if microsoft office 2000 has microsoft word
included in t he package. I am new to this, many thanks

Every version of Office includes Word, as does Works Suite.

If you need Word quickly and are thinking of buying an old copy of Office
2000 (from an auction site, for example), may I make another suggestion? If
you don't need the other Office apps, and unless the price you're offered
for Office 2000 is exceedingly reasonable, you might be better off buying
Works Suite 2004, which includes Word 2002. The price is under $100 for Word
and several other useful apps (and I believe there is still a $15 rebate in
effect). You would be getting a newer, more stable version of Word, along
with Works, Encarta, PictureIt!, Money, and Streets &Trips. For more
