Microsoft Office 2000

This week my hard drive packed up. I was able to
retrieve all files but unfortunately my Office 2000 is
corrupted. I have tried to delete it from my hard drive
and it wont let me; I have tried to reinstall it from the
CDs but it wont let me. The error message keeps coming
up saying "the patch package could not be opened and to
verify it exists".

Please can anyone help?!?
