Microsoft Office 2008 SP2 Install

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Hi, I tried installing Office 2008 SP2 but got some error so I uninstalled office and when I am trying to install it again I am getting this error " installer cant install some files in "'/Applications".

I have removed office files from everywhere, I even tried installing it in Safe Mode but repeatedly I am getting the same error. Please help

If you have permissions to install but receive errors such as this then
try using Disk Utility found in /Applications/Utilities to repair
permissions. If that doesn't work then try something like DiskWarrior
from Alsoft. This is more likely to be a disk problem than an installer
problem.

This doesn't sound like a Microsoft error message. Check the amount of free
space on your drive along with the tips Bill mentioned.

Use Activity Monitor in Applications/Utilities to check free space. Look
under the Disk Usage tab.
